Disclaimer

Soil attributes published in the Soil and Landscape Grid of Australia are a first approximation of predictions of soil properties across all of the continent using digital soil mapping (DSM) methods. These maps will be updated over time as resources and new data become available. The products available for download from the Soil and Landscape Grid of Australia are the results of spatial modelling that may contain errors and artefacts. Before using these maps for other modelling, management or decision making, we suggest that users check that the confidence limits (available together with the maps) satisfy the requirements of the particular application. For farm or catchment scale studies, other more detailed soil information may be available from local soil survey agencies.
