Jan is the Web Coordinator and one of the Science Communicators in the Communication Group, which delivers communication services to CSIRO's Land and Water division and the Water for a Healthy Country Flagship. She is based at the Waite Campus, Urrbrae.

Jan is experienced in web development and maintenance, web authoring and editing. Her responsibilities include:

• CSIRO land and Water internet and intranet coordination
• web content creation and web maintenance
• production and e-publishing of general and technical publications including formatting and conversion to PDF format
• responding to enquiries and correspondence.

As well, Jan is an experienced Technical Writer with expertise in authoring, editing, producing high quality documentation and utilising a range of software to provide publishing solutions for print and web.

Jan has a Masters Degree in Educational Management and certification in the use of various software.
