Fiona is a Science Communicator in the Communication Group, which delivers communication services to CSIRO's Land and Water division and the Water for a Healthy Country Flagship.

Fiona joined CSIRO in June 2007, coming from Channel Ten where she was a Segment Producer on SCOPE – a children’s science show produced in collaboration with CSIRO.

Current duties include

• communications support for the Health Water Ecosystems Theme within the Water for a Healthy Country Flagship, as well as Land and Water division's activities in Queensland
• writing content for CSIRO websites
• assisting in the production of promotional literature and presentations
• assisting the delivery of promotional activities, seminars and special events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons), Monash University, 2002
• Graduate Diploma in Science Communication, ANU, 2005
