PC-1800 for Windows 
XRD Instrument Control Program

Overview

PC-1800 is an Windows based system for the control of Philips PW1800 X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) instruments. The design aims of the system were to develop a low-cost control package that was complex enough to allow users access to the full capabilities of the PW1800 instrument and yet also be capable of being controlled by users with little or no knowledge of the workings of the PW1800. 

The PC-1800 control system goes hand-in-hand with the XRD data analysis program XPLOT. The digitally stored output from the control system is in a form that is fully compatible with XPLOT.
