Condobolin and District
Landcare Committee was established to give a voice to all the individual
Landcare groups in the area. The Committee meets every couple of months
and aims to encourage and promote Landcare activities and sustainable
agriculture. It also provides a forum in which to share ideas and
information, network and form partnerships, as well as apply for funding
on behalf of the community for regional projects. The Committee has had
a number of successes, including regional bus trips, soil workshops,
funding for a community tree planter, and funding for the Drainage
Awareness project. |
