Water Re-use

Australia is one of the most urbanised nations and, per capita, one of the highest consumers of water in the world. The nation is challenged not only with supplying water to the growing urban areas, but also with disposing of their wastewaters. CSIRO Land and Water is exploring ways to reduce the amount of water used in our cities and towns by encouraging the reuse of storm water and effluent waters.
