What is available online?

If there is a link to an online version of a publication, this will also be included in the MoreInfo link of the search results. CSIRO Land and Water publicly available publications in electronic format are available for download at no cost. For example, our Technical Report series and some publicly available Client Reports are in electronic format from 1997 onwards. We may include links to journal websites, however many require payment to access journal articles.

Access will be restricted for non-CSIRO staff to many full text citations. Information about access is provided for each record and may be found in the Moreinfo link on the search results

What is in the database?

The CSIRO Division of Land and Water formed in 1997, combining the previous Division of Soils, Division of Water Resources and the Centre for Environmental Mechanics. The publications database currently contains bibliographic citations of publications by staff of CSIRO Land and Water, or one of its predecessor divisions.

The database includes all published publications ranging from Divisional reports to refereed journal articles. Citations and online documents are added regularly. The availability of content ranges from full text to citation content only.

• Publications included are those where the author affiliation is CSIRO Land and Water.

Some of the restricted access publications listed above are confidential in nature or still subject to scientific review. If you would like further information on these publications please contact the Publications Officer.

The CSIRO Land and Water Adelaide Library holds an extensive range of publications from the former CSIRO Division of Water Resources and Division of Soils including Soil and Land Use Series, Land Research Series, Bulletins, Technical Reports, Divisional Reports and copies of the Atlas of Australian Soils. The publications contain a broad range of information related to the soil and water resources of Australia. Many of these publications, including regional soil maps, are available for purchase through the Adelaide Library.
