CSIRO Land and Water and its partners seek to develop innovative solutions to Australia’s land and water management challenges.


NSW Department of Primary Industries acts in partnership with industry and other public sector organisations to foster profitable and sustainable development of primary industries in New South Wales.  

 

Through Woolworths Drought Action Day funding Woolworths is supporting a number of innovative projects across the country, designed to trial new ideas and techniques for dealing with and adapting to drought.

The Murrumbidgee CMA is committed to working with the local community to ensure the Murrumbidgee catchment continues to support the economic, social and environmental outcomes for the 1/2 million people living in it.


Landcare is a uniquely Australian partnership between the community, government and business to 'do something practical' about protecting and repairing our environment. More than 4,000 volunteer community landcare groups - including bushcare and urban landcare, rivercare, coastcare and sustainable agriculture groups - are tackling land degradation in every corner of Australia.

   Natural Heritage Trust

The Natural Heritage Trust was set up by the Australian Government in 1997 to help restore and conserve Australia's environment and natural resources. It funds activities that further three objectives:
  1. Biodiversity Conservation
  2. Sustainable Use of Natural Resources
  3. Community Capacity Building and Institutional Change

The GRDC invests in research and development for the greatest benefit to its stakeholders - graingrowers and the Australian Government. The Corporation links innovative research with industry needs. The GRDC's vision is for a profitable, internationally competitive and ecologically sustainable grains industry.
