All of the nearly 3,000 CSIRO Land and Water's images have been moved to scienceimage, CSIRO's image library specialising in science and nature images.   Please bookmark their site as this gallery now only contains preview versions of images. See below for conditions of use of preview images.

The enquiry and order forms go directly to scienceimage - please note that image file names will be different in the scienceimage gallery.

CSIRO staff can download print quality images at no cost for use in CSIRO presentations or publications from scienceimage.

All images are © Copyright CSIRO. Preview images (100Kb) can be downloaded, printed on paper or saved to disk for private use, or for non-commercial purposes associated with private study (such as school projects and activity sheets) without payment or further permission, providing embedded copyright notices are NOT removed from the images. The photographer's name must also be included as well as © CSIRO.

Images may NOT, without prior written permission, be used for any commercial purpose, which includes:

• any products offered for sale or hire or otherwise disposed of on a commercial basis
• any educational materials or publications offered for sale.
